Lately Loving... including Palmolive® soft touch™

Obvi, loving my little man.  He's getting so big and luckily, sleeping well in his crib upstairs.  I'll just sit and stare at the baby monitor, make sure he's breathing (yes, I still do that) and watch him sleep.  By the way, at his Well baby visit this past Monday (9 months), he weighed in at 26.8 pounds.  My little linebacker is solid, I tell ya.  Such a chunk of pure love!  And... I cannot blame his PJ ensemble on my husband.  This is the mom has not had time to do a lot of laundry PJs look.  Also, loving his crib (Bonavita Sheffield) and bedding (Pottery Barn).

Another Pottery Barn purchase, my little spice jars.  Can't wait to fill 'em up!

Fish tacos.  I love fish tacos.  That is all.

And check out the great products I received c/o Influenster.  Two full-size Palmolive® soft touch™.  I've got coupons to hand out too.  I might even share one of these bad boys.  I use the regular Anti-bacterial Palmolive so I was happy to receive this!

I am admittedly obsessed with Chocolate Shakeology.  It's delicious (especially with a half of a sliced frozen banana blended in it) and so full of wonderful benefits including over 70 natural ingredients and it's helping me lose weight.  I just can't sing it's praises enough.  Loving it.

Gettin' It

I am obsessed with working on my fitness.  I'm a Beach Body Coach now and am so thankful for the great results I've had while taking Shakeology.  I am 18 pounds away from my pre-baby weight.  This is good news since I was 25 pounds away from it like 3-4 weeks ago and had been the same weight since having the baby, practically...  I am gettin' it!  Need to be able to keep up with my little one who is pulling up on anything he can.  He'll be walking soon, aye!

Also, I have a lovely new dress in stock.

Another reason to get in shape: so I can fit into the clothes I sell.  I love this dress!

Happy Friday!

Baby Cakes

My sweet little man is eight months old.  How crazy is that?  Time really does fly the first year of a baby's life.  I think it's because of how fast they grow in the first year and all the milestones they reach so quickly.  For my Daxie, it will be just around the corner hitting that year mark.  I'm savoring every minute of him.  The amount of love I have for him is truly immeasurable.  He's my dream!

Here are some recent pics of my sweet baby boy for you to delight in, as I know you will!

Bzzz...

I have been so busy and my blogging has suffered so much.  Please loyal readers, accept my apologies.  I love to blog but time really gets way from me these days.  I'm a mom and a wife with a full-time job and my commute now totals about 3.5 hours per day which is crazy.  I have also started to work on my newest business venture which has me so excited.  I launched my company, Frenchrum Emporium, and I am partnering with a dear friend and the owner of Bella Salon to offer clothing, jewelry and accessories to customers by way of trunk shows and parties.  We've got a few under our belt now and i hope the momentum keeps going.  I think it will because shopping parties are fun, especially when there is no pressure and it's not for direct sales.

So if you have a moment, please visit my website at www.frenchrumemporium.com and let me know what you think of our capsule offerings!

Blue Eyed Monster

One of my style blogger crushes, Glamourai posted an enviable look that I am obsessed with.  This is a couple of years old but how wonderfully on trend is that cobalt blue blouse?

source
Here are some shoppable blue tops that make the same impact.

I also happen to have the Nordic Treasure necklace from Jewelmint which works great to emulate the bold necklace in her look.  Something I do not normally do that she did here, is wear big bold earrings with a statement necklace.  Somehow, it works.  And those pants?  Can the hem be any more amaze?  One wouldn't think a burgundy bag would work with cobalt blue but it is a neutral and a great hue for making an outfit more fashionable.  Every girl must have a neutral bag in a not so boring color {grey works too}.  The sunnies, the rings and her cute hair... I just love the vibe.

Raising the Bar

I cannot wait to have a party at the new crib!  This past weekend we bought a great piece of furniture that is perfect for entertaining:  the Porter Bar from Ashley  Had to get the stools as well.

It was delivered a few days ago and we set it up in the game room.  Now all my husband needs to do is learn how to make an actual cocktail so he can get to work.  Here are some similar options (and one super fancy one).

Homestyles Home Styles Rio Vista Home Bar Espresso

Swing Open Portable Home Bar

St. Croix Bar

Howard Miller Sonoma Home Bar

BTW, planning a housewarming party sometime very soon, so stay-tuned.  The bar will be used.  Very much so.

Two Zero One Three

2013!  I'm so happy that I'm around for another year.  Hope everyone is having a great time this New Year as well!  I just wanted to check in quickly and let you know what's going on.  Christmas was very scaled down as we were days away from closing on the new house.  I did get some great pics of the baby opening a few gifts - post later.  We actually closed on the house on Dec. 31.  What a great way to start the New Year in a new home.  I can't wait to go through the decorating process on the blog.  I spent New Year's Eve with family, shopping and sleeping as I slept through the actual celebration.  I usually watch the ball drop but I was asleep at about 9:30 p.m.  New mom, new normal.  Baby Dax is growing like a weed and he is such a delight and so super smart.  I know everyone thinks their baby is a genius and in my case, it is true.  He is amazing!

I don't have any resolutions to tell you about.  I understand that the New Year is symbolic and that's great but I don't do New Year's Resolutions.  I feel like you can change your life on any given day at any given time. I do feel better about my life and who I am as a person when comparing my life to this time last year.  Growth is always good.  And yes, we've had a lot of monetary, material blessings but that's just icing.  The cake is love, friends, family, confidence, creativity and a wonderful life.

Blessings!
